The brand and communications agency brandtouch° is expanding its strategy skills and is opening a second office in the German capital in addition to its base in Hamburg. Dr Aliaa Adel is joining brandtouch° Berlin as a partner and will manage the business jointly with Owner and Managing Director Günter Sendlmeier.
The 36-year-old strategy expert is moving to the brand consultancy brandtouch° after six years at international management consultants The Boston Consulting Group, where she worked in Munich, Hamburg and Berlin. At BCG, she was most recently responsible for leading client projects on consumer insights. As a consumer insight expert, she was responsible for developing strategies for an international, multi-industry client portfolio and for developing proprietary research tools and methods. Among her clients were Intersnack, Friesland Campina, Bosch Siemens Household Appliances and various ministries in the Middle East.
‘I am delighted to have Dr Adel with us at the head of brandtouch°. Her analytical expertise and international experience will make an exciting contribution to our future assignments,’ emphasised Sendlmeier. ‘Her appointment also enables us to hone our response to the many brand advisory tasks that exist for start-ups, especially in Berlin.’ brandtouch° already advises various young companies on building their brand, including Monoqi, Westwing, Amorelie, Juniqe, DeinHandy and Lillydoo. In addition, Sendlmeier and his team are the lead brand agency for national and international clients such as Conrad Electronics, Milram and Media Broadcast.
